Blog #4 My Future Income

The total of my future expenses each year are $118,161.95.  I know this is logical because my primary sources for information are http://www.zillow.com/sacramento-ca/home-values/ http://ohmyapt.apartmentratings.com/breaking-down-the-average-utility-costs-per-month-whats-normal.html http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/health/NATL-ACA-328-Average-Monthly-Health-Insurance-Cost-Under-the-Affordable-Care-Act--225324422.html. According to http://www.mommd.com/pediatric-salary.shtml I can likely count on making $ 175,000 each year in my future job as a pediatrician.  My education/training to get that job will cost $320,000 total for all years of training. I want to save $18,000 for my rainy day fund each year, and $24,000 for retirement each year.  If I save $24,000 for retirement each year, by the time I am 65 years old I will have $840,000 plus interest. Comparing my future income and expenses makes me think about all my parents have spent on me. It also has allowed me to realize nothing in life is cheap, it may seem cheap, but it all adds up.

  4. That's a lot of money saving you'll have to do for retirement and rainy day fund but you'll make it with how much you'll be making, right.
